When inclement weather necessitates the closing of school, this information will be broadcasted by 6:30 a.m. on the following stations:
- Radio - KMOX-AM 1120
- TV - Fox Channel 2
- TV - KSDK Channel 5
- TV - KMOV Channel 4
If dangerous weather occurs while school is in session the school will not close. Parents are free to pick up their children at any time if said weather prohibits safe travel home. The school will remain open for all parents and children for whom there is no transportation during early dismissal. In rare instances if the school is closed after school is in session all parents will be notified by phone, TV announcements or by listening to the radio station listed above. Please be aware of the varying time frames for calls to parents due to the large volume of calls that need to be made. All attempts will be made to give timely notice to all families.
